The Match 1 of Legends League Cricket between India Maharajas and Asia Lions got fans extremely nostalgic due to so many reasons. While some brilliant batting from Kamran Akmal set the tone for the tournament, it was actually the 10th over of the contest when cricket lovers witnessed something which took them to old days.

Few years back, Irfan Pathan had wreaked havoc with his brilliant hattrick against Pakistan in his first over of a Test match. Around 16 years later, the left-arm pacer did something similar, this time in Oman. After Asia Lions had got off to a steady start, Mohammad Kaif called Irfan Pathan into the attack in 10th over and this is when the destruction began.

The first victim of Pathan was Mohammad Hafeez who tried to play a cut shot over the backward point fielder but the ball went straight into the hands of Munaf Patel. The 37-year-old put his tongue out while celebrating his wicket, expressing his happiness.

In the same over, the left-arm pacer then dismissed Mohammad Yousuf with a peach of a delivery going away from the former Pakistani batsman. Notably, Yousuf was also one of the three victims during Pathan's famous hattrick in 2006. While that day, he had succumbed to an in-swinger, things were slightly different this time around however the result was the same.

After 14 overs, Asia Lions had scored 113/4 courtesy Upul Tharanga's brilliant knock. Meanwhile, Pathan had conceded only 10 runs in first 3 overs with couple of wickets to his name.
