"I hit big shots all the time," Poole

After the match, Poole talked about his mindset while taking the shot. “I want the ball at all of the end-of-the-quarter and shot clocks,” Poole told NBA TV. “And my teammates look for me and I know I had him on his heels. I have endless range, I guess.”

He then addressed his plans, especially after a low scoring game on the last occasion. “Just continuing to keep being aggressive, playing my game,” Poole said. “That’s really all it is. Trying to get my teammates involved but continuing to be me, putting pressure on the defence and trying to get easy and open looks for my teammates. I hit big shots all the time. My teammates believe that, that’s why they gave me the ball at the end of the quarter, stay locked in and try to get this momentum going and take it on the road,” he continued.
