The ongoing India's tour of South Africa has been nothing short of drama and controversies. During the Test series, there were quite a few occasions when the players of both sides got involved in banter and arguments with each other.

From Rassie van der Dussen vs Rishabh Pant to Marco Jansen vs Jasprit Bumrah, it has been a heated series so far. And it looks like the same tension and aggression has been transferred to ODI series as well.

Virat Kohli has been in the thick of things and despite stepping down from the captain of the national side across all formats, his same old passion was at display on Wednesday. During the 1st ODI in Paarl, King Kohli got involved in another tussle with the opposition player.

It all happened on the 4th delivery of 36th over when Temba Bavuma hit a ball towards the short cover region. The ball went straight in hands of Virat Kohli and the former skipper threw the ball straight towards the wicketkeeper, with Bavuma on the way.

Although there was no harm done, the captain of South Africa gestured that there was no need for the throw as he was back in the crease quite comfortably. This angered Virat Kohli who then got himself in a heated conversation with Bavuma, presumably suggesting that he has all the rights to throw the ball towards the wicket-keeper and the batsman should instead ensure to not come in between.

Meanwhile, South Africa had got themselves in a solid position after 40 overs with score reading 210/3. While Bavuma was batting on 89*, Rassie van der Dussen was unbeaten on 70* with final 10 overs remaining in first innings.
