In a shocking news from world of cricket, former Aussie cricketer and legend Shane Warne, aged 52, has died in Thailand on Friday due to a 'suspected heart attack'.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course," a statement from Warne's management read.

The former leg-spinner is considered as one of the best ever players to have ever graced the sport of cricket. In an illustrious 15-year career from 1992 to 2007, Warne took 708 wickets in 145 Test matches. He also had a brilliant ODI career where he took 293 wickets in 194 games, while also being a part of Australia's amazing 1999 World Cup team.

The development has shocked the entire world as fans and cricketers have expressed their sadness on Warne's untimely death. Former players like Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Shoaib Akhtar, Kris Srikkanth, Mohammed Hafeez and many more have reacted on social media.

Shane Warne's last post on social media was earlier in the day when he had put up a post on the death of Rod Marsh. The cricket fraternity indeed lost two gems of the sport in one day.
