The Royal Challengers Bengaluru all-rounder Krunal Pandya stated that winning IPL trophies is like having kids and that you can’t just pick a favourite IPL title win. This is the 5th IPL title that Krunal Pandya has won in his career and he just has too many to choose from. He won 3 titles with the Mumbai Indians in his tenure with them and he won the rest with RCB.

Krunal Pandya himself has played an instrumental role in RCB’s IPL campaign as he was their man for the crisis moments. To have 5 trophies in 11 years is a trophy cabinet of a champion player and Krunal Pandya will go down in history as one of IPL’s greatest all-rounders of all time.

“Every IPL trophy is special. It’s like having kids, right? You can’t pick. Similar to IPL trophies because everything is so hard-earned. I’m so glad and grateful that in 11 years, to have five trophies, it’s pretty special for me,” said Krunal Pandya on winning his 5th IPL title. Winning 5 titles in 11 years, is almost an IPL trophy in 2 years and that is consistency of the highest degree. Krunal Pandya will be delighted with his contribution to RCB’s victory tonight with the wicket of Jos Buttler and his contribution all through the season.

Krunal Pandya proves to be RCB’s greatest all-rounder ever

Krunal Pandya’s performance in this season’s IPL is good enough to label him as the greatest all-rounder that has ever played for RCB. Despite the evolving T20 format, he has adjusted his bowling and batting constantly in such a way that he still remains fit for the game. The veteran has quite a few tricks up his sleeve and that is good enough to outfox the batters. Krunal Pandya has picked up 14 wickets in 16 matches and the most important aspect of his bowling is his economy of just 7.

The veteran from Baroda has not excelled with just his bowling prowess but also with his handy contributions with the bat. His best knock of the season came against the Mumbai Indians when he stepped up for his side when it mattered the most. Then again he played another fine knock against SRH and then came his match-winning partnership with Rajat Patidar in Qualifier 1. All of these knocks are good enough to justify his reputation as an all-rounder and the best ever that has played for RCB. Krunal Pandya scored 226 runs from 16 matches and he averaged over 37 throughout the IPL season.
