1. SA vs IND at Johannesburg, 2006:
India recorded their first-ever Test victory on South African soil after ten attempts as they went winless in 1992/93, 1996/97, and 2001 tours to South Africa respectively. India bundled out South Africa for just 84 runs in their first innings with the help of a brilliant five-wicket haul from Sreesanth which helped them to record their first Test victory on South African soil.
Sreesanth won the player of the match award for taking a total of 8 wickets (5/40 & 3/59) in this game. Rahul Dravid became the first-ever Indian captain to win a Test match on South African soil.

2. SA vs IND at Durban, 2010:
India recorded their second Test victory on South African soil at Durban with the help of VVS Laxman’s gritty 96-run knock in the second innings and brilliant bowling from Zaheer Khan and Sreesanth who helped the opponent team to get bundled out for just 215 runs respectively while chasing a total of 303 runs.
For the first time, India went on to draw a Test series on South African soil by a 1-1 margin under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in 2010/11. VVS Laxman won the Player of the Match award for scoring 134 runs (38 & 96) in this game.

3. SA vs IND at Johannesburg, 2018:
Indian team despite losing the first two Test matches of this three-match series against South Africa played the third Test match for pride and went on to beat the Proteas side by 63 runs with the help of a brilliant five-wicket haul from Mohammed Shami and stunning effort from other pacers like Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar also played a pivotal role by reducing the South Africa team from 124/1 to bundling them to a total of just 177 runs.

4. SA vs IND at Centurion, 2021:
Indian team created history by winning a Test match at Centurion for the first time with the help of stunning century from KL Rahul as opener which laid the platform for them to win this game by a margin of 100-plus runs (113) in total. The 117-run opening partnership between KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal on day 1 of this Test match played a big role in Team India’s Test victory at this venue.
India despite winning the first match of the series unfortunately lost the remaining two matches of the series and ended up losing this Test series by a 1-2 margin.

The Indian team went on to defeat the South African side inside just two days with the help of a brilliant six-wicket haul from Mohammed Siraj who bowled brilliantly to bundle out Proteas for just 55 runs.
