Rishabh Pant is one of those players who keeps both opposition and fans on their toes. The wicketkeeper batter always plays counter-attacking cricket and most of the time it brings joy to all the cricket lovers. However, on few occasions, his 'hitting from first ball' approach gets him in trouble and frustrates Indian cricket fans. Similar frustration was on display on Sunday as Rishabh Pant got out on his very first delivery while going for a big shot in the 3rd ODI against South Africa.
The dismissal happened in the 23rd over. After a brilliant partnership between Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, the latter got dismissed after scoring 61. While fans expected Rishabh to form another partnership with Kohli, the wicket-keeper tried to go for a glory shot and holed out the first ball.
Twitter was clearly not impressed as the twin strike allowed South Africa to get back in the game.
