The Men in Blue are on fire as they reduced Australia to 2/2 in the starting minutes on Day 1 of the first Test. After Australia opted to bat first, their batters were seen struggling against the Indian pacers on the swing- friendly Nagpur pitch.

Mohammed Siraj, who was introduced to the attack in the second over of the match on the opening day, drew the first blood. Siraj who bowled brilliantly, hit the pads of Usman Khawaja and appealed for a huge LBW. While at first Rohit seemed doubtful for a review, the skipper took a review, which successfully went in his favour.

The excitement from here on rose to a new level. The Indian dressing room also had some exciting reactions and celebrations after the first wicket. Indian head coach Rahul Dravid hogged the limelight after his reaction surfaced. Some even said Dravid’s reaction to be same from his playing days.
Talking about the match, while Siraj took the first wicket, Mohammed Shami was also among the wickets. He dismissed David Warner to finish back-to-back wicket maidens for India.
