After leading England to their second world title in the T20I format, Jos Buttler has turned his attention to defend the trophy following a yet another decent season of the IPL with Rajasthan Royals.
In the IPL 2024, Jos Buttler played 11 matches for RR, scoring 359 runs at an average of 39.89 and a strike-rate of 140.78, scoring two match-winning hundreds in the process. Tanush Kotian
When Jos Buttler was ruled out of the IPL 2024 match against Punjab Kings earlier in the season in Mullanpur, the Rajasthan Royals team management sent out Tanush Kotian to open the batting alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal. The 25-year-old, an off-spinner who bats a bit, showcased a decent batting technique in his debut IPL appearance, but he was unable to accelerate the innings, scoring 24 off 31 with three fours.
