On Monday, 25 November, India defeated Australia by a comprehensive margin of 295 runs in the first Test of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) series at the Optus Stadium in Perth. In their second innings, India declared on 487/6 after two batters scored tons, and others chipped-in with decent contributions.
