Asian Games Gold medals
The Indian men’s and women’s teams created history by clinching gold medals at the cricket events at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. India’s quest for gold started with the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Women’s team taking down Sri Lanka in the final by 19 runs after an undefeated run through the knockouts. Similarly, the Men’s team, under Ruturaj Gaikwad, decimated every opposition to clinch the gold over Afghanistan in a rain-affected final.
