Sameer Rizvi, 20, was snaffled up by Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2024 auction for a whopping price of ₹8.4 Crore after a massive bidding war for his services. After making his debut in Ranji Trophy at the age of 16, the right-handed batter gained recognition among the fans, and his impressive performances in the UP T20 League last year swayed the IPL teams to bid for him in the recently concluded auction.
