The second match of the Super-4 stage will bring two traditional rivals against each other. After outplaying Pakistan in league stage, unbeaten Rohit Sharma & Co. will look to register yet another comprehensive win against Men in Green in order to earn two crucial points in Super-4 stage. Meanwhile, Pakistan bounced back strongly in the tournament and crushed Hong Kong on Friday.
Babar Azam-led men delivered intimidating performance against Hong Kong as they posted 193/2 in the first innings on the back brilliant batting from Mohammad Rizwan (78 off 57), Fakhar Zaman (53 off 41) and Khushdil Shah (35 off 15). The second innings saw more dominance from Men in Green as not a single batter from Hong Kong side could reach double figures in the match. The whole side bundled out for 38.
Both teams have now qualified for the Super-4 stage and set to challenge each other on September 4 (Sunday). While cricket experts are expecting yet another nail-biting thriller between both teams, a Pakistan cricket fan took imagination to a whole new level. The fan tweeted, "Imagine Pakistan repeating the same bowling performance as of yesterday tomorrow as well and get India all out on 36."
Although, there is little doubt over the quality of Pakistan bowlers, the imagination does not appear to be anywhere close to reality. The tweet attracted lot of attention from Indian fans who were quick to school Pakistan cricket fan in the most hilarious manner.
