Manchester United defender Luke Shaw confirmed another injury setback days after a previous issue he had been facing. The footballer shared an emotional note on social media and confirmed that the injury will keep him sidelined for a few more weeks. Shaw was first seen in action in the 2024-25 campaign during Ruben Amorim’s first game as Manchester United manager against Ipswich Town.
The footballer then made cameo appearances in Europa League as well as the 4-0 win against Everton the previous weekend. However, the 29-year-old recently revealed that he has picked a fresh injury which will keep him out of action for a few weeks. Notably, since 2023, the Englishman has appeared in only 14 league games and spent only 1031 minutes on the field. He was previously suffering from a calf issue.
