The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the schedule of the Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2024 on Friday, November 8, a tournament which will be played in Sharjah and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The coveted India versus Pakistan clash in Group A will be played in Dubai on the second day of the tournament on November 30, which will coincidentally kick-start the Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2024 for both the teams.
Notably, the eight-team Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2024 has two groups of four teams each, and the top two from each group will be making the semi-final stage of the tournament, finding themselves a step closer to the final, which will happen on December 8 in Dubai. The hosts UAE are in Group A alongside India, Pakistan, and Japan, while in Group B, Bangladesh are pitted alongside Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal.

The opening match of the Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2024 will be played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan in Dubai on November 29, and on the same day, the other match will have Sri Lanka taking on Nepal in Sharjah. While in Group A, India will be favourites alongside Pakistan to make the semi-final stage, the Group B could see Sri Lanka and Afghanistan reaching the top four.
