Australian spinner Adam Zampa has been sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad after the franchise acquired his services for INR 2.40 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Zampa wasn’t among the six players to get retained by Rajasthan Royals during the players retention, and will now be seen playing for SRH in the upcoming edition.
Adam Zampa was a part of RR from IPL 2022 to 2024, but didn’t get much chances in the playing XI. He was finally released by the franchise ahead of the mega auction. Now, Zampa can be seen forming a spin pair with Rahul Chahar for SRH in IPL 2025. The Australian spinner will be looking to have a good season along with his Australian mates including skipper Pat Cummins and Travis Head.

After that, he went on to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals respectively taking 29 scalps in 20 matches of his IPL career so far. Now, he is set to play for a new franchise in IPL 2025. Talking about his IPL salary, Zampa will now earn INR 2.40 Crore while playing for SRH in the upcoming season.
As Adam Zampa is likely to bowl four overs in a match, he will bowl a total number of 336 balls during the league stage. According to this, the Australian spinner can earn around INR 72K per ball. However, he is likely to bowl 408 balls with a total 17 matches in an entire season. According to this, Zampa will earn approx 59K per ball in IPL 2025.
