Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya received grand adoration from fans in Wankhede stadium as the Men in Blue were felicitated for winning the  T20 World Cup 2024  in the West Indies and the USA. Celebrating these performances, Indian captain Rohit Sharm praised Hardik Pandya while the crowd cheered him on by chanting his name. The Hitman said, " Hardik was bowling the final over for us. Hats off to him for bowling that last over. You know, no matter how many runs you need, there is always so much pressure to bowl that over. But hats off to him."

Talking about his great World Cup, Pandya came up with the crucial wickets of Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller which turned the game in India's favour.  He ended the World Cup with 144 runs at a batting strike rate of over 150 and also took 11 wickets. These top-notch performances in the  tournament with bat and ball, helped Pandya become the first Indian man to reach No. 1 in the category.
