The Saudi Pro League club, Al-Nassr are reportedly set to offer a three-year contract to Casemiro, the Manchester United midfielder, to bring him to the Middle East in the summer. The latest development has come after it was reported that Manchester United are open to selling Casemiro, who hasn’t had the best of times at Old Trafford in the ongoing season.
As per the report from Caught Offside, the officials of Al-Nassr have already held talks with the representatives of Casemiro, to sign him in the summer transfer window. They are ready to try and bid €40m for the star Brazilian footballer with Manchester United while offering him a three-year contract.
Al-Nassr likely to offer three-year contract to Casemiro
Notably, Casemiro hasn't decided on his future course of action as far as where he will play in the next season, but there is a strong case of him and Manchester United parting ways this summer. The 32-year-old has been far from his best in the 2023-24 season, and his performance in the heart of defence during Manchester United’s recent 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
It prompted the Sky Sports expert and the Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher to question the quality of Casemiro. He also suggested that the Brazilian should end his career at the top level in Europe and move to either Saudi Arabia or the USA.
Moreover, a deal for Casemiro for the aforementioned sum of money with Al-Nassr could allow Manchester United to sign a decent replacement for him in the midfield in the summer transfer window.
