Top-tier clubs from the Arab world compete in the annual regional club football competition known as the Arab Club Champions Cup, which is run by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA). A total of 37 teams from the Confederation of African Football and the Asian Football Confederation compete in the competition, but 16 of them qualify for the final stage.

With eight triumphs, Saudi Arabian clubs have the most victories overall. Eight of the 19 clubs that have won the championship have done so more than once. With three each, Iraqi club Al-Rasheed and Tunisian team Espérance de Tunis are tied for the most championships. Raja CA of Morocco is the current champion after claiming their second crown in 2020. The tournament will take place across three different venues in Saudi Arabia from July 27 to August 12.

What is the format for the Arab Club Champions Cup 2023?

The sixteen teams in the tournament are divided into four groups of four teams each. Each team will face each team in the group once in the league stage. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockouts, which will include quarter-finals followed by semi-finals followed by the final, which will take place at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, Abha.
