Manchester United legend Paul Scholes slammed former Red Devil Jesse Lingard on his Instagram post where the Englishman was seen working out in a gym. Lingard was considered to be Man United's next big superstar but the Carrington graduate fell out of the first-team rotation, and had a few loan spells, before eventually leaving as a free agent at the start of the 2022-23 season.

The England international, then, joined Nottingham Forrest but was released at the end of the last campaign. He has since taken trials with Premier League side West Ham and Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq but hasn't received a contract offer for the last seven months.
So when J esse Lingard posted pictures from his workout, Paul Scholes was quick to react and launched a scathing attack. The Man United legend asked the free agent, “Are you just gonna f*ck about in the gym?” Check out the post here:
Short corners are sh*t: Scholes on Man United's corner-taking strategy against Wigan Athletic
Like the aforementioned comment, Paul Scholes was active on Instagram as he called out the Manchester United team against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup. The 11-time Premier League winner called out the Red Devils' corner-taking strategy. Scholes, posting on his Instagram stories, wrote, "Short corners are sh*t."
Reacting to this comment, Scholes' former teammate, Gary Neville, taking to X, shared, "Well that’s that! Scholesy on Instagram." But in his next post, the ex-Manchester United right-back disagreed with the storied midfielder.
Neville posted, " Whilst I wouldn’t go as far as Scholesy on short corners ( particularly if the opposing team are Giants ) it’s always a sinking feeling when the CB’s have gone up and you have 5-6 in the box and you see it played short and not whipped in."
