Even those remotely following football would have come across two of the biggest names in the sport in the current times. Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi has been a debate that has defined our times. The two greats of the game have divided the world, with each side having its own rationale and logic to support its favourite star.

Manchester United's 17-year-old Argentine star Alejandro Garnacho had a huge day of his career on Saturday when he was named as a substitute in the Red Devils' match against Norwich. Moreover, post the game, he was even given the match ball by Ronaldo, who netted his 50th club hat-trick in this game, helping the side to a memorable win.

Understandably, he was delighted with what had happened and took to Instagram to share a picture with the legendary Portuguese. He even termed Ronaldo the "Greatest of All times."

Here is his Instagram post:

However, the same hasn't gone down too well with several of his compatriots including Sergio Aguero. While Garnacho has been a lifelong Ronaldo fan, the former Manchester City striker wrote: "Porque todavía no jugaste con el mejor pa @leomessi," which roughly translates to "because you have not played with Lionel Messi yet."

Other than Aguero several other Argentine and Messi fans have taken to comment on the Instagram post trying to change the youngster's opinion. "messi or ronaldo? decide brother," wrote one user before the teenage star's much-anticipated Argentina debut.
