With talks around the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 intensifying, several franchises have resumed their trails. Among the ten franchises, the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians are one of them to commence their trials in Mumbai in order to search for the best talent ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction

During the trials, 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter from Uttar Pradesh, Aryan Juyal hit India cricketer Rahul Chahar for six sixes in an over. Although, not much is known about the trials as even the Mumbai-based franchise is yet to reveal the details around the same.

Who is Aryan Juyal?

Aryan Juyal, who hails from Uttar Pradesh is a talented 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter. He made headlines by smashing the first century of 2024 UP T20 League. Playing for Gorakhpur Lions, the youngster put his batting prowess in front of the eyes of millions, hitting magnificent shots.

Further reflecting on his cricketing career, the 23-year-old began at a very young age when he was selected in his school team at the age of eight. By the time he was admitted to class five, he was enrolled at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun, under the guidance of coach Ravindra Negi. 

Two years later, Juyal moved to Moradabad, where he would travel to Delhi in order to gain more experience under Sanjay Bharadwaj at LB Shastri Cricket Club. His consistent performances in Under 14 and Under 16, paved way for his selection in the Indian team for 2018 Under 19 World Cup. 

The 23-year-old has played 25 matches in First-Class cricket, scoring 1431 runs at an average of 40.88. In his 34 List A appearances, Juyal has amassed 1273 runs at an avegare of 45.46 with his highest score coming of 159. In T20s, Aryan Juyal has scored 285 runs from 12 innings.
