Former Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar had a hilarious piece of advice to share with Bangladesh players after they registered a 0-2 defeat to Rohit Sharma and Co. Notably, India and Bangladesh recently engaged in a two-match Test series in the Indian subcontinent, where the former swept the series 2-0. With India’s dominant win over their neighbours at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, the two-time WTC finalists had solidified their position at the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) standings.

During the fifth day of the second Test in Kanpur, former Bangladesh cricketer Athar Ali asked legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar if he had any advice for the Bangladesh batters. Gavaskar, who was also commentating during the game, came up with a hilarious reply, leaving everyone including Ali stunned. The former Indian captain said that as an Indian he would suggest Bangladesh players to get out quickly. Gavaskar told Ali, "As an Indian, I'll say get out quickly.”
