MS Dhoni is set to play another season of the IPL for Chennai Super Kings in 2025. The wicketkeeper batter will be seen in action after almost an year and the fans are eagerly waiting for his arrival on the field as CSK take on Mumbai Indians at M.A Chidambaram Stadium on March 23. Recently, Lucknow Super Giants mentor Zaheer Khan also spoke about the effect of Dhoni on the cash-rich league.
Zaheer Khan said that the CSK fans will be seen at every venue in the IPL as long as MS Dhoni is playing. "As long as MS Dhoni is around, yellow will dominate all the stadiums. It should be like that. He is loved by everyone. As long as he is playing, it will be like that," Zaheer was quoted as saying by Crictracker.

Zaheer Khan was appointed as the mentor for Lucknow Super Giants in August 2024 and will be looking to guide the franchise to their maiden title this year. Speaking on LSG”s chances on IPL 2025, the 2011 World Cup winner said that the LSG players know hot to win matches. He also mentioned that the support staff is working with the fast bowlers and are hoping for a great season ahead.
"When you talk about the IPL, you know that uncertainties like these can arise. LSG's support staff is working with the pacers accordingly, and we have plans in place for the season. We have 24 players in the squad, and we know how to win matches," Zaheer Khan said.
