The much-awaited Asia Cup 2022 is here. Hong Kong paved their way to the final to qualify for the single spot to compete in the continental tournament. This is for the first time in the tournament history that the Asia Cup will be played in the shortest format of cricket.

The T20 tournament will kickstart from August 27 and will conclude on September 11, 2022. The entire leg of Asia Cup has been shifted to UAE after the ongoing economic & political crisis in Sri Lanka. Although, the island nation still holds the right to host the tournament.

Talking about the fixtures, Sri Lanka will play Afghanistan in the tournament opener with India taking on Pakistan on the second day (28 August 2022). The other matches are as followed:

September 1: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh - 7:30 PM IST
September 2: Pakistan vs Hong Kong  - 7:30 PM IST
