The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will be played in ODI format from August 30 till September 17 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. While the opening match will see Pakistan take on Nepal in Group A clash at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan.

 

Talking more about the marquee tournament, while India, Pakistan and Nepal form Group A, Afghanistan along with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka form the Group B. Seeing this, India will only meet Afghanistan in the Super Fours if they finish as top two teams in their respective groups.
