After a washed-out group-stage match, the arch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to lock horns in the 2023 season of the Asia Cup. This time, the neighbours will go head-to-head in the Super Fours stage of the tournament on September 10, Sunday at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. On the eve of the highly anticipated encounter, Pakistan announced their Playing XI that will take on Rohit Sharma's men on Sunday.

While Pakistan is coming on the back of a 7-wicket win over Bangladesh in the first Super Four match, the upcoming fixture will be India's first Super Fours game. Pakistan have decided to field the same playing XI that took on Bangladesh in the first match of the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage.

Speaking of the first match of the Super Four stage, Babar Azam bowled first after losing the toss. The Pakistani pacers, especially Haris Rauf, shone and restricted the Bangladesh to 193.
In the second innings, though the Men in Green lost early wickets in the names of Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan came up with terrific half-centuries to guide their side to a seven-wicket win.
