After a great start on day one of the medal competitions at the Asian Games 2023, Team India will be looking to continue the winning momentum on September 25, Monday, in the multi-sporting continental games. The biggest hope for a gold medal for India will be in the women’s cricket competition, where they will be playing the final against Bangladesh.

Shooting has been one of the most fruitful events for India in the Asiad, and on the opening day of the competition, the women’s 10m air rifle team won the silver medal, followed by an individual bronze medal in the same event. Tomorrow, in the men’s 10m air rifle, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Rudrankksh B Patil, and Divyansh Singh Panwar are in the hunt for a medal, in both individual and team events.

The men’s 25m rapid-fire pistol could see Anish, Vijayveer Sidhu, and Ad arsh Singh bring home the medal in both individual and team events.

Rowing brought three medals, including two silver and one bronze on the opening day of Asian Games 2023, a trend which is set to continue on September 25 for Team India. In the medal hunt will be Balraj Panwar in the men’s singles sculls final A, along with the team of Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit Kumar, and Ashish in the men’s four final A.

The team of Satnam Singh, Parminder Singh, Jakar Khan, and Sukhmeet Singh in the men’s quadruple sculls, along with the team of Aswathi PB, Mrunamayee Nilesh S, Thangjam Priya Devi, Rukmani, Sonali Swain, Ritu Kaudi, Varsha KB, H Tendenthoi Devi, and G Geetanjali in the women’s eight final A, could bring more rowing medals for India.
