The 19th season of the Asian Games 2023, going on in Hangzhou, the Republic of China will come to an end on October 8. The last leg of medal action at the multi-nation marquee event will take place on Sunday, which will be followed by a closing ceremony at 5:30 pm IST. In the 2023 season of the continental event, India shattered the record, and ended their campaign with 107 medals with 28 gold, 38 silver and 41 bronze medals.

On the second-last day of the Asiad, won 4 medals in archery, followed by a historic gold in women kabaddi, that marked India's 100th medal. Other medals of the day came in form of men cricket's top podium finish, men kabaddi's triumph over Iran in a drama-filled clash.
In the men's doubles badminton, the star duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy scripted history by winning the gold medal. Later, men and women's chess teams won silver along with Deepak Punia's white metal in 86kg freestyle wrestling.
While India signed off their campaign in the continental event, three other events will conclude on the last day.
