While the senior men’s team get themselves ready for the ODI World Cup 2023, set to be played from 5the October till 19th November at their home soil, the second team will eye for a gold at the Asian Games, set to begin on September 23 in Hangzhou, China.

With just days ahead of the quadrennial tournament, the schedule for the men’s cricket event has been released. The event will see as many as 14 teams compete for the gold with the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side playing their first match on 3rd October. As per the schedule, the top 4 ICC T20I ranked teams have directly qualified for the quarterfinals.

While India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the four teams having qualified for the quarterfinals, Afghanistan being the fifth in the team will also face in the quarterfinals.
