Ubisoft has officially announced the Assassin's Creed Mirage stream release, which is expected to be out in October 2024. However, the exact release date is yet to be confirmed. Fans are excited as this is the first time Mirage will be available on Steam, as it was previously only available on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft’s platform.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ubisoft said, "As we celebrate one year since launch, we can't wait to welcome more fans to our back-to-the-roots experience set in 9th-century Baghdad."

About Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin's Creed Mirage takes players back to a smaller, more focused game, similar to the earlier titles in the series. It follows the story of Basim, a clever street thief in 9th-century Baghdad, who becomes a skilled assassin after joining the Hidden Ones. The game was originally released on October 25, 2023, for PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC (via Ubisoft and Epic Games Store).

Earlier this year, Ubisoft also made Mirage available on iPhone and iPad. It works on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and newer iPads with the M1 chip.

New Steam Strategy from Ubisoft

This Steam release is part of Ubisoft's new strategy. In the past, Ubisoft released its games only on its own platform and the Epic Games Store for PC users. However, with Assassin's Creed Shadows, which is now set to release in February 2025, Ubisoft will launch new games on Steam from day one.

What to expect from the Steam version?

While the specific release date for Mirage to Steam is still unknown, fans have the Steam page for the game already opened for them. For the game to play, it is recommended that at least 8 GB of RAM be installed, with 16 GB being preferred. Fans are excited to explore 9th-century Baghdad once again and enjoy the classic stealth gameplay of the Assassin’s Creed series.
