The highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test series between Australia and India will kick-start with the first Test on Friday, November 22, at the Optus Stadium in Perth. With the Indian cricket team winning the BGT in the last four editions, including two down under, they have a psychological edge over the hosts Australia, but their recent form in Test cricket is quite a big worry after suffering a 0-3 home series defeat against New Zealand.
Australia, on the other hand, played their last Test match back in March 2024 at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch during their 2-0 series win against New Zealand in away conditions.
