The Badminton Asia team championship’s 4th edition is set to take place on February 13-19th in Malaysia. It’s a stage where Asia’s top nations come under one roof to compete against each other & showcase their contention for the trophy.
It will be the second consecutive time Malaysia will host this biennial event as they also hosted the event last time when they won the championship in the men’s category. The tournament was started in 2016 with China, South Korea, and Malaysia among the standout performers throughout the championship.
Although, India has not yet won any gold medal in this event, winning just 2 bronze medals in men’s events, this time all eyes will bank on world no.7 H.S. Prannoy, who will lead the Indian men’s category contingent while P.V Sindhu will lead women’s category.
