Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will take on each other in the first match of the three-match T20I series on Monday, March 4 in Sylhet. This series will act as the final blend of preparations before the showpiece event in June where both teams can extract out their possible combinations.
However, the visitors would be without their regular skipper Wanindu Hasaranga in the first two matches as he was suspended for two games after his outburst on the umpire in the third T20I against Afghanistan last month. All-rounder Charith Asalanka would be leading the side in the first two games till Hasaranga returns in the final game.
