The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday (8 December) announced a 17-member squad for the upcoming Test series against India. All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been assigned the duty to lead the Tigers in the two Tests set to be played in Chattogram and Dhaka respectively. Wicketkeeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim has made a comeback to the Test squad. 

Notably, the first Test starts on 14 December and will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Bangladesh won the ODI series as they beat the Men in Blue in the first two matches. Now, the Tigers will lock horns with the Men in Blue in the two Tests. Although Bangladesh don't stand a chance to qualify for the World Test Championship Final, the Tigers will look to make it count for themselves.
