Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir was seen shouting and screaming in joy as LSG pulled off a thrilling one-wicket win against RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. KL Rahul's side was chasing a humongous 212-run total and then got off to a poor start. But Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran carried the team and took them to a winning position.

After their dismissals, Ayush Badoni also batted well to before being hit wicket in the 19th over. Then in the last over, chasing five runs, LSG had weathered away an incredible bowling effort by Harshal Patel including a Mankad attempt before clinching the win. Hence Gautam Gambhir burst out with excitement and joy as he was celebrating this hard-fought win.

Talking about the game, LSG captain KL Rahul spoke about how the M Chinnaswamy stadium has often produced thrillers and expressed elation about managing to win the game. He also thanked his lower-batting order, who were the reason behind this incredible victory.
He said, "Unbelievable. This is the Chinnaswamy, only venue where so many last-ball finishes are possible. From the position we were in, to end up winning it is superb. We had to go hard and the ball swung early, and they got 2-3 wickets to put the pressure on us. The only reason we got two points today is for the way the lower order batted."
He also stated that he wants to make big improvements as hasn't performed for his team. He said, " Not ideal for me, I want to score more runs and get the strike rate up as well. We've played on two tough Lucknow wickets, and today we lost 3 wickets so I went slower. I wanted to stay till the end and play with Nicky."
