Rohit Sharma-led Team India registered a comeback victory to level the five-match Test series 1-1 after thumping 106-run win over England in Visakhapatnam. While it was Yashasvi Jaiswal’s double ton and Shubman Gill’s century from the bat, Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc with the ball, finishing with nine wickets.

Despite some all-rounder performance from the hosts, Bumrah won the Player of the Match for his spell. He even got Pakistani great Waqar Younis talking about Bumrah after he reached the fastest to 150 wickets in Test cricket.
Moreover, speaking at the post-match presentation, Bumrah when asked about competition with his fellow pacer James Anderson, gave a fiery response adding that he doesn’t get into any competition. “No not really (competition with Anderson?). Before a cricket, I’m a fast-bowling fan. If someday’s doing well, kudos to them. I look at the situation, at the wicket and think what are my options. I should not be a tricky pony,” he said.
I don’t look at numbers: Bumrah’s blunt response to chasing records
Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Bumrah was informed of his staggering numbers in India. “As I said before, I don’t look at numbers. As youngster, I did that and it made me excited. But now it’s an added baggage,” he said.
Harsha Bhogle also informed Bumrah that his yorkers got even former Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis talking. In reply, Bumrah said, “As a youngster that is the first delivery I learned (yorker). Had seen the legends of the game. Waqar, Wasim and even Zaheer Khan.”
