In anticipation of the eagerly awaited Battlegrounds Mobile India series (BGIS) 2023, Krafton has released the whole schedule and format. The BGIS 2023 will be performed in stages, beginning with The Grind, which got underway on July 20. The Grind, which will act as a warm-up for the main competition, will also include a number of underdog teams.

What is the format and schedule of the BGIS 2023?
Qualifiers:
Verified teams can participate in the in-game qualifiers after completing the registration and verification processes successfully. To qualify, a team must play 15 classic matches, with the top 10 match scores deciding their ranks. To move on to the following round, the top teams must maintain a strong average of positions and elimination points.
Round 1 to Round 6:
The Round 1-6 will take place from August 31 to October 7. In-game qualifications will pit 2048 eligible teams against one another in Round 1. From Round 1 through Round 6, these 2048 teams will fight in a group of 16 matches, with the winning teams moving on to the Grand Finals.
Grand finale:
The best teams from rounds 1 to 6 will face off in the championship game from October 12 to October 14. The BGIS Grand Final will be an audience-attended LAN event.
