The first week of the BGIS 2024 semifinals came to an end on June 9, which had a total of 31 teams participating for eight spots in the finale. While eight teams made it to the summit clash, the remaining 23 will be once again up against each other in week 2 of the semifinals. While 24 teams were initially set to clash in the second round, team Zero Recoil was disqualified during the first week of the semifinals. 

The second week of semifinals is scheduled to take place from June 13 to June 16, where 23 teams will be seeded into three groups and will compete in a round-robin format. Each group will compete in 16 matches, out of which the best eight overall teams will advance to the grand finals whereas the remaining 15 will be knocked out of the tournament.

In the first week of the semifinals, Global Esports emerged as the star performers and became the only team to score more than 100 points. Team Aaru and XSpark finished second and third, respectively with 98 and 97.5 points.
