NODWIN Gaming has announced the BGMI Masters Series, India's biggest esports event, would make a comeback. The second season of the BGMI Masters Series, which will start on August 4, will build on the success of the first season. The second season will feature 24 teams and have one of the largest prize pools for a non-publisher competition - INR 2.1 Crore. The top teams from the open qualification, which is open to all Indians, will contend for the final 10 spots. 14 esports teams out of the 24 teams will receive straight invitations.
With more than 36 million viewers for the entirety of the competition, the television broadcast of the BGMI Masters Series' first season (2022) was a success. Star Sports will broadcast the second season of the BGMI Masters Series in Hindi, English, and Tamil.
