The 10th season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 is set to begin with the defending champions Comilla Victorians taking on Durdanto Dhaka on January 19. The runners-up from the BPL last season in Sylhet Strikers, along with Rangpur Riders, Khulna Tigers, Chattogram Challengers, and Fortune Barishal, will also be competing for the coveted title.
A round robin group stage of the competition will have BPL teams play each other twice on home and away basis before the top four qualify through to the playoffs. The final of the BPL in 2024 will be played on March 1 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
Some of the top cricketers set to take part in the 10th season of the BPL will be Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Nabi, Colin Ingram, and Sean Williams, among others.
