The BRICS Championship 2024 for Tekken 8 is set to take place in Moscow, Russia, from November 9-10, 2024, at the VK Play Arena. Organized by the Russian Esports Federation (RESF), this championship will feature top players from the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) competing in Tekken 8, a popular fighting game. India's participation will be decided through the National Esports Championship (NESC24), which is being organized by the Electronic Sports Federation of India (ESFI). Winners of the NESC24 will qualify to represent India in the BRICS Championship.

How to Qualify:

Players from India need to participate in NESC24, which acts as the national qualifier. The top two players from NESC24 will earn a spot to compete in Moscow.

How to register for BRICS Championship 2024 Tekken

The registration will run from 30 September to 06 October 2024. Follow the below steps to register for BRICS Championship 2024 Tekken: 

  • Step 1: Goto the official discord server and find the registration form or visit this link: https://forms.gle/gtbzUHnq1xKdQ2ST9
  • Step 2. Enter your details such as your name, nationality, Steam profile URL, and Discord ID.
  • Step 3. Upload a document to verify your age, such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, or PAN Card.
  • Step 4. If you are under 18, you'll need to get the "APPEARANCE/PARTICIPATION RELEASE MINOR AND PARENTAL/LEGAL GUARDIAN CONSENT FORM" filled and signed by your parents or legal guardian.
  • Step 5. Read and accept the terms and conditions of the event.
  • Step 6. Once all fields are filled out and documents uploaded, click the "Submit" button to complete your registration.

Registration Requirements:

  • Players must be 16 years of age or older. 
  • If under 18, participants need parental consent to compete. 
  • A valid government-issued ID must be submitted during registration. 
  • All players must hold a valid Indian passport with at least six months of validity before traveling to Russia.

Important Information:

  • ESFI will cover the international travel expenses, local transportation, visa, and accommodation for the top two players. 
  • Regular updates, including match rules and schedules, will be available on ESFI’s Discord server and social media platforms.
