Inter Milan will face Benfica Lisbon at the San Siro stadium on Wednesday night in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League 2022-23 quarterfinal. After dominating their road fixture against Benfica in the first leg, Inter have managed a two-goal lead over the Portuguese side in the competition.
Inter Milan won the first leg comfortably with a goal from Nico Barella in the 15th minute and then Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead with a penalty in the 82nd minute. Inter are looking to advance to the last four for the first time since 2011 when they went all the way.
Benfica, on the other hand, lost the first leg at home quite easily to an average Inter Milan side. Despite being top of the league, they have lost all three of their last three games in all competitions. Benfica will have to be up to the task if they have come back from a two-goal lead at the SanSiro.
