Chelsea will pay tribute to the Indian YouTuber Abhradeep Saha aka “Angry Rantman” at the Stamford Bridge during their Premier League match against West Ham United on Sunday, May 5. Abhradeep Saha, who was a big Chelsea fan, passed away last month due to health-related complications at the Narayana Cardiac Hospital in Bengaluru.

It was reported that Abhradeep Saha had undergone open heart surgery, but soon, he suffered multiple organ failure. This led to him being put on the life support system before his untimely death.

Tom Overend, who is closely associated with Chelsea, sent out a post on X, to inform everyone about a tribute planned for Abhradeep Saha at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday, May 5. Notably, he was in touch with the deceased's family, asking for their permission before approaching Chelsea to organise a tribute ceremony for him.

“Announcement: I can confirm there will be a tribute to Abhradeep Saha at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. He will be in the match programme, and there will be a tribute announcement at half-time. Thank you to everybody that shared and supported to help make this happen,” said Tom Overned in his post on X.

Who was Angry Rantman?

Abhradeep Saha aka “Angry Rantman” was a popular YouTuber in the world of football and other sports, getting prominence after his video of criticising Chelsea for their loss had gone viral a few years ago. His words, “There is no passion, there is no vision, there is no aggression….” are still used as a meme template whenever a football team doesn’t perform to expectations.

During his death, Abhradeep Saha had more than 129k followers on Instagram and nearly 500k subscribers on his YouTube channel.
