With famous players like Wang Manyu, Fan Zhendong, Chen Xingtong, Sun Yingsha, and Chen Meng, China has announced its table tennis team for the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023. In the men's singles, China will be represented by the top two players, Wang Chuqin and Fan Zhendong, and in the women's singles, Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi will head the squad.

Wang Chuqin, Fan Zhendong, Ma Long, Lin Gaoyuan, and Liang Jingkun make up the men's team, while Sun Yingsha, Wang Yidi, Chen Meng, Wang Manyu, and Chen Xingtong make up the women's team.
Based on the most recent International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) world rankings from July 4, the Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA) reported that China's coaching group took into account players' style and technique, the organisation of various events, and players' results against key opponents.
The Hangzhou Asian Games are essential to China's table tennis team's preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, according to Li Sun, the team's head coach.
The Asian Games 2023 will take place from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou. Since being made an official sport at the Asian Games in 1958, table tennis has reportedly been won by China 61 times out of 64.
