The Clash of Clans ClashMSTRS Gold 2023 kicks off on July 29. It will act as a Qualifier to the Clash of Clans World Championship and feature a massive USD 50,000 prize pool.

The qualifiers will be hosted on the ‘toornament’ platform, which is also the site where players can sign up for either of the qualifying rounds. The World Championship will feature the winner of this tournament along with other teams which have won golden ticket at other designated tournaments or qualified through Supercell Championship Qualifiers.

When will the ClashMSTRS Gold tournament start?
The first Open Qualifier is set for July 29, and will allow for open registration with no team limits. 

What is the format of the Clash of Clans ClashMSTRS Gold 2023?
The tournament will be played in total four phases and will run from July 29 to August 20, 2023. 

Open Qualifier 1: 29-30 June 
Open Qualifier 2: 5-6 August 
Swiss Stage: 11-13 August
Playoffs: 18-20 August

All matches will commence on the  toornament  platform at 12 pm UTC time.

What are the Open Qualifiers?
The open qualifiers are a single elimination bracket round which will run for two days and continue until eight teams remain. The format will use Town Hall 15 battles. After both qualifiers, sixteen teams will proceed to the Swiss stage.

What is the Swiss Stage?
The Swiss Stage will be paired against each other based on match records. Progression to the next round demands three wins, while three losses will see a team getting knocked out of the tournament.

How will the playoffs take place?
The playoffs will be played in a double elimination format and will use random seeding rather than relying on match records. Teams will have two chances - one in the upper bracket and then in the lower bracket if they lose while competing in the upper bracket. A lower bracket defeat means the team is eliminated. 

What is the prize pool of Clash of Clans ClashMSTRS Gold 2023?
The winner will earn a spot in the World Championship as well as prize money of USD 18,000. The remaining teams will earn as follows:

Second place: USD 10,000
Third place: USD 7,000
Fourth place: USD 5,000
5th-6th place: USD 3,000
7th-8th place: USD 2,000
