The Indian team has continued its dominant run in home conditions as they another whitewash series win in Bengaluru. But ahead of the third T20I, captain Rohit Sharma’s form has been the biggest problem in the Indian batting lineup. The bowling attack has had a decent performance throughout this series and hence the management would hope for a flawless effort with the ball to close the country’s final T20I series before the World Cup.
On the other hand, Afghanistan has severely missed its star player, Rashid Khan with the bowling failing to create pressure on the Indian batters. The new-ball pair of Fazalhaq Farooqi and Naveen-ul-Haq have had a decent performance but the Johnathan Trott and Co. would hope for a better performance from the spinners. Similarly, the batting lineup hasn’t fired as a unit with only one or two batters putting up big scores in the series.
