Portugal and Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly be suspended for two games owing to the red card he received during their Saudi Super Cup semifinal clash against Al-Hilal. The superstar is expected to return to action after one month in their game against Al-Khaleej in the semi-final of the King Cup of Champions.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was involved in a heating exchange with the referee followed by a physical spat with the home team defender Al Albulayhi which resulted in the direct suspension of the star footballer. Ronaldo escalated the feud further by arguing and showing his fist to the referee.
According to the reports of @NFCBALL, the former Real Madrid striker will face a one-match suspension due to a straight red by the referee. There are further claims that Al-Nassr’s star is set to be ruled out from their next encounter with Al-Khaleej too. The development came following the post-match report by the referees and the Saudi Super Cup disciplinary panel.
