Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portugal international has revealed his post-retirement plans after the success of his YouTube channel ‘UR Cristiano’. The 39-year-old recently launched his YouTube channel and reached one million subscribers in just 90 minutes. With this, the 39-year-old became the fastest to earn one million subscribers on YouTube. 

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Pro League, added that he won’t be looking at taking up coaching roles, but confirmed that it will be a spontaneous decision. "When I leave the national team, I won’t tell anyone beforehand and it will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but also a very well thought out one,” he said during an interaction.

Highlighting on his current state of mind, Ronaldo said that currently he wants to help his national team with big tournaments coming ahead. “Right now, what I want most is to help the national team in its upcoming matches. We have the Nations League coming up soon and I would really like to play there," he said, as per an interview with Portuguese TV channel NOW, via Relevo.

"In my mind, at the moment, it is not about being a first team coach, or a coach of any team. I don't see my future being that way. I see myself doing other things outside of football, but only God knows what the future holds," the 39-year-old further added. 

Ronaldo has been playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League since early 2023. His stint with his previous club, Manchester United ended on a sour note.
