Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodríguez has recently shared a few pictures of their newborn daughter. The picture was captioned, “Bella Esmeralda”. The couple recently suffered a massive tragedy as they lost their newborn boy just after his birth. Because of this unforeseen event, Ronaldo had to miss Manchester United’s game against Liverpool.

The Red Devils lost the game 4-0, but fans at the Anfield stadium rose up and applauded CR7 as they expressed their support during that difficult time. Since then, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in Manchester United’s next three games against Arsenal, Chelsea and Brentford.

So far in the 2021-22 season, Ronaldo has been the best player for the Red Devils as he has netted 24 goals across all tournaments. He is also the third-highest goal-scorer in the Premier League.

He’s been one of the greatest in the last 15 years: Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola had recently praised Cristiano Ronaldo for his incredible season. He said, “He’s been one of the greatest in the last 15 years, alongside (Lionel) Messi. What these two guys have done, we're not going to see it again. As a finisher, he's exceptional, and I'm not going to disguise it was a joy to watch him all these years.

Cristiano is not a central striker: Rangnick

Recently in a press conference, Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick talked about CR7’s true position on the field. He said, “Cristiano is not a central striker, he also does not want to play in that position.

“In order to not play central, you have to play with two strikers as we did in the last 15 minutes or in my first game against Crystal Palace or the second one against Norwich, and even in the second half against Newcastle,” Rangnick continued.
